few pics to share

I can't believe how time flies in between postings...It's been a couple weeks since my last post, so I thought I would just add some recent pics of Evie.  She is really starting to talk a lot!  I love how she sings "ring around the rosey" and puts people's names in the "ashes, ashes" part. It sounds something like this... "doodle, doodle, all fall down".  She pretty much puts anyone's name in the spot.  Even sweet Connie who works at Hobby Lobby.  After we saw her, Evie wouldn't stop singing, "Connie, Connie, all fall down".  She is such a joy at this age, except for the 5 am wakeup calls she's been giving us lately.  I keep having to tell myself, this too will pass!

Yesterday, Hampton had an observation day for her dance class.  I thought it would be fun for Evie and me to go - thinking Evie would really like to watch.  I was wrong about that!  She would not sit in my lap and insisted on going out to join the little girls during their dancing. The instructor was so sweet to allow Evie to be out there.  Anyway, here are some pics Dana took.  I think we have a little dancing princess on our hands!

Pretty In Pink

I haven't updated my blog in awhile so I thought I'd add some pictures I took of Evie this morning for her valentine cards. She definitely knows how to say, "cheese", but certainly does not like to sit still for the picture taking. We had quite a time getting these three shots. I can't believe how grown up she is starting to look and really can't believe she is already 2! What a wonderful two years it has been. I am blessed to have this little wonder in my life - I still find myself in total amazement that she is really ours. It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about the awesome hand God has in her life.

She brings me such joy!
