We had such a fun time visiting with some sweet friends who came all the way from old Mexico. Cynthia and Gaby were sweet enough to come over and share their musical talents - and Evie, of course, jumped right in. Gaby accompanied her with his awesome guitar playing and Evie sang the night away.

Special thanks to the Barney Christmas movie that we've watched at least 20 times this month... I have to say the view of the fake snow this time of year sure looks heavenly! Evie was singing this at the top of her lungs the other day. I just had to share the lyrics with you...

Today, Evie found THE perfect hiding spot. For the life of me, I couldn't find her, until I caught a glimpse of those precious brown eyes peeking at me from between the pillows on my bed. She was as quiet and as still as could be...I had to share a pic!

Thursday night we enjoyed celebrating our dear friends, Jim and Meghan Smith's, 20th anniversary. What a wonderful night it was. Meghan and Jim have truly been the kind of friends one can only be so lucky and blessed to have. Since we live only a block away from each other, many of our evenings and weekends are spent together. We've laughed together, cried together, and have become forever friends.

What a treat it was to be able to celebrate their special anniversary with them!
