Introducing...Davis Reed

We have a new family member!  My sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mandi and Jeff, had a new baby boy on May 26th!  His name is Davis Reed and he is absolutely precious.  We made the trip to Kansas City and got to meet him.  Evie really thought he was something else.  We are so happy to have him in our family!  

BIG steps

Well, we have decided to move.  It's difficult to see the sign in the yard when we have made so many wonderful memories here.  The decision to move came really quickly - only because we weren't seriously looking and the perfect house fell into our laps.  Before our new house was listed, I put a note into the current owners mailbox hoping to get a chance to look at it before involving any realtors.  Trevor and I were in the house for about 5 minutes when we both said, "This is it!  We have to buy it!"  We are really excited about having more room and I am super excited about the custom kitchen that was put in less than a year ago.  Everything about it is just perfect - and to make it all the more sweet, it is only 4 doors down from where we live now.  That should make the move easy, right?  I will post a pic of the new house soon!

What a BIG helper

As I was busy cleaning the bathroom, I had such a great little helper making the job even more fun.  It's hard to believe out of all the toys she has in her room, a roll of paper towels would be just the thing to keep her entertained!

First time for everything!

Today is the day!  I have decided to join the blogging world...hoping that more than anything, this blog becomes a journal to treasure.  As an avid reader of blogs, I am a little intimidated, but hope this becomes a way for family and friends to see more in our daily lives.  So, (with our fingers crossed) here goes!
