Well, I think I am the only mother of a 3 (almost 3 and-a-half) year old that does not have her child potty trained! I have tried it ALL! Bribery with her favorite candy, favorite toys, favorite place (Chuck-E-Cheese) and her favorite treat, ice cream with sprinkles....NOTHING is working! So far she has tinkled on the potty once (thanks to her watching Dora and drinking a juice box while sitting on her potty - note above pic), and pooped once, but that's it, folks. This morning she was super excited to wear her heart panties and so I thought, "okay, let's do it". I dressed her as I normally do, put an extra set of clothes in the bag and just as we're heading out the door I glance at her to discover her jumping up and down in a, yep, you guessed it, puddle of pee. Oh my, and to think I really thought we were getting somewhere. If any of you moms have suggestions, I am definitely up for the taking. Preschool is right around the corner and I'm afraid we won't get to go - I am really not sure we'll be accepted into Kindergarten at the rate we're going.

any suggestions?
For Easter, Trevor filled up Evie's sandbox outside. The first day she spent an hour making sand castles and mountains - she had the best time! But every time she's been out in the sandbox since, she has been snacking on the sand. I couldn't believe it the first time I saw her eating it and decided to turn the other way knowing "there is no way she'll do that again". Well, no such luck. I looked over again to watch her not putting a handful of sand in her mouth, but a shovel full! Do you all think this deserves a visit to the doctor?

pinkalicious!
Our first big Crown show! What a fun day! Dana, Hampton, Evie and I went to see the play "pinkalicious" together. I am sad to say that Renee, Sallie and my mom were supposed to join us, but the flu bug bit poor Renee and Rich on their way to Kansas! So it was just the four of us - it was so much fun! We dined a fabulous lunch of mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, french fries, and pink applesauce. Then we finished it off with pink cotton candy - or should I say "I" finished it off...Evie didn't care too much for it - lucky me! We ended the day by getting autographs from the cast and a picture to boot! Doesn't get much better than this!
