fashion show

I was asked a few months ago if I would like to put some loolabelle goodies in a fashion show to kick off Hannah's Circle - a women's bible study group. I thought about it for a little while and then decided there was no way I could pass this opportunity up. So my very talented seamstress and dear friend, Janeen got on board and started sewing away. Of course choosing the models was the best part. Evie wasn't so sure about the idea of walking around all of these women, but soon changed her mind once it was time to "walk". Thank heavens to Hampton (who is a pro a modeling), Lucy (who was so laid back and willing to do it) and Delaney (for showing off those super sweet dimples) that also helped model the loolabelle ruffled pants as well as loolabelle's newest family member, the dance bag (thanks, Dana).

first day of "dance class"

Evie has been super-duper excited to be in dance class just like her cousin, Hampie. We went and got her special blue leotard, tights and ballet slippers with her friend, Lucy, (so neat they get to do this together) a good week before class started and every day she would ask, "is today dance class?". Well, when the day finally arrived, she couldn't wait! The day before she took a nap wearing her ballet shoes and woke up the morning of, at 4 am hollering, "I have dance class today!" It really was the cutest thing to see her all dressed and ready to go and to watch her practice her dance moves in the mirror.
